Description
Tarragon is aromatic seasoning with slightly bitter taste, as well as spicy and herbal aroma, which reminds of anise or fennel. It was very popular especially in Arabic cuisine – nowadays mostly used in France. Nevertheless, recently also enriches meals of the Polish cuisine. Due to its intensiveness, tarragon definitely dominates when is mixed with some other herbs. A pinch is enough to give meal unique taste. If we don’t want to bring out its bitter taste, we shouldn’t cook the meal for too long. Tarragon should be added at the end of cooking.
